Michael Liebman and Ben Proffer

Michael is a Manager for RMI’s Global South program. He focuses on Puerto Rico’s energy transition and scaling learnings from this work to other Caribbean nations and beyond. He is currently working on microgrid deployment in lower and middle income communities in Puerto Rico with the objective of creating a community driven, resilient, renewable, and affordable energy system. // Ben creates and oversees the execution of the communications strategy for the Carbon-free Electricity practice at RMI, including earned media, social media, thought leadership, and multi-channel communications designed to advance an affordable and just deployment of clean energy resources at the speed necessary to stave off the worst effects of climate change.
